As  the Scottish Rock Garden Club gang of volunteers are preparing for the display Gardening Scotland Liz has been up to Ardfearn (- thanks folks!) to collect these goodies for the stand.

Gardening Scotland have high hopes of good weather .... they've posted this screenshot of the weather forecast for the show!

The Show is at the Highland Showground, Ingliston, by Edinburgh 3rd to 5th June

Rumbling Bridge Nursery isn't attending the show this year but  have kindly given plants for the SRGC Display.

Marvelous progress- amazed at how it is coming together. It must be a bit odd working in the light of the hall - I wonder you  are able to see the colours okay - though it appears you are!

Hello Dave unfortunately all I had was coffee and yes my eyes were a bit strained once you went out it was so bright hurt the eyes will be back tomorrow maybe more lights on then, maybe loan the Management a few bob to get more light (nae chance) cheers.

car loads of plants arrived so we started planting them -besides those mentioned above an excellent  contribution from Ayrshire via the McNultys and Simpson Watts  which  none of us seem to have photographed

We really did make good progress  thanks to excellent teamwork. Finally  a rare action  shot of myself - note how  thoughtful Richard had brought in biscuits that match the colour of the compost!

The Rheum nobile also came from Ardfearn.  Many of their plants are raised from seed from both the SRGC and AGS Seed Exchanges.

More good progress today. Four of us  who were at Ingliston yesterday were  joined by Trina who once again  did a lot of labelling, something that   is really important  for a display.
