There is a great article on Erythronium in the NARGS Rock Garden Quarterly
which just arrived.
Art Guppy from Duncan, in the Cowichan Valley of Vancouver Island,
has spent many years studying Erythronium in the wild, growing them
in his garden, and crossing them to verify relationships.
His first article, recounting his discovery that ants distribute the seeds
of European and Eastern U.S. species, was published in the summer
issue.
