It's on Sunday 21st August at Andrew and Jenny Clarke's, Pentlow Mill, Cavendish CO10 7SP from 2pm.

Should anybody have forgotten, the sale takes place this afternoon.

I would really have loved to have gone. Last years was wonderful I got some really nice
erythroniums. Any photos or videos hint hint David?
What unusual purchases?

We are not long back from the Mid Anglia Bulb Sale, it was a lovely occasion in a great setting.  Many forumists were there and it was good to see everyone.  Others might wonder why we make such a fuss about it, galanthophiles would understand as there were hard to find snowdrops in the auction (amongst other things including two loungers).  Here was your chance to pick up 'Green Tear', 'Carolyn Elwes', or 'Castle Green Dragon' to name just three.  The members bulb stall had still more bargains (I came away with Erythronium 'Winifred Lorraine' which Val Bourne then told me was one of the best in her garden ), and there were more sellers there including the guest nursery - Sarah and Julian Sutton from Desirable Plants,  Matt from Riverside Bulbs and Richard Hobbs and Sally.  To add to all that it was free admission which included tea and cake.  Now I need to pot some more snowdrops (now there's a surprise)

Was a great couple of hours , well worth the drive (not that I was driving today ) . Was nice to see friends out of their winter woolies . Should have got there a bit earlier and taken more money !
