a question for English growers - are Narcissus cantabricus, romieuxii, rupicola vars cold hardy? I'm planning to add to my frames to deal with the over crwding in the greenhouse and thinking about what might go out in the frames.
In my experience, I agree with Ian. In our last very bad winter 2010-11, most plunged pots were fine down to -7C, but unplunged ones died slowly as their roots were killed.
Two rolled-rim hoops in flower now in my covered trenches outside.
So good to see them growing in your garden Wim. I wish we could grow them outside here in Aberdeen I think we would need to get a real summer every year for them to thrive.
