As you can tell, no doubt, by my silence, nothing much is flowering in these parts at the moment but, I did chance upon a small group of
Haemanthus
aff
sanguineus
flowering bravely in the heat of summer (35'C today, 41'C slated for tomorrow!).

just spent a very cold hour in one of the tunnels cleaning all the dead stuff of the top of the pots of rhodohypoxis - looks like most of them have survived winter so far
