Superb images (and culture!) of these beautiful Eranthis Tatsuo.
Your pink pinnatifida is a particular joy to behold!

A green Eranthis hyemalis I found some years ago. Maybe it is worth naming?

Well Carlo, when you find some you know with whom you can share.  That is a really lovely plant.

Carlo, Anne, you may be able to import from the Japanese Nursery, Yuwaza Engei  - worth investigation? Those who have ordered from them speak very highly of their services.
They are SRGC members and advertise with the Rock Garden .... click here to see their shipping terms.

They've had it listed before , Anne - and  it's worth checking their seedlist in the summer.

I got pinnatifida  from Japan last year in July. No bloom but it is growing.
Got it from Janis in 2013 and has bloomed every year since.

Erantis pinnatifida. It is a far cry from Steve's professional photographs. But it still fills me with joy
