Bits of news filtering out from Kincardine - Sue Simpson- recently become Mrs (George) Watt - has won thirteen firsts and two trophies !
Here are some of the plants Sue took to the show ....
I think we can see here that Cyril wasn't getting it all his own way with competition like this in the hall!!

Certificates of merit for Tom Green and Anne Chambers and the trophy for section 2 as well as the bronze medal for George Gilkes from Oban. I received the Carnegie Trophy for most points due to bringing most plants. As they are scattered around the show I have taken a snap of most of them after unloading and before watering and dispersing again- many of these will now go into the ground some in a community garden. Makes me wonder whether I should just put then into the show hall like this!

I managed a quick post before watching Le Rugby en Paris avec un bouteille de Shiraz. Now for the small six pans in Class A and the class 1 for 3 alpines of different genera.
