After having lost almost all my arils to virus, I have finally bloomed a new seedling.  A cross of Mohric Art x Absalom's Treachery, it takes strongly after the mother.  Only a single flower per stem, but this may improve.  Interesting scent.  Hard to define spicey.

simply beautiful.  I'm impressed you get such excellent culture in pots.  I've always found it difficult to get the water right.  The Tüz form is particularly well defined.

Iris acutiloba subsp. lineolata JJA 0.583.101 Iran, Ardabil, W of Ardabil, Kuh-e-Sabalan.  2400 m.  Among steppe vegetation on tuffs of volcanic ash.

Sown Sept 2007; first flower May 2016.  My first onco from seed :)
