very nice - do you have any tips re distinguishing L.brachycalx from L.nevadenis before they flower? I have supposedly seedlings of both in their second year and they look suspiciously similar.

Mark, L brachycalyx leaves are wider than those of L nevadensis but....a broad leaved nevadensis and a narrow leaved brachycalyx could have the same width leaves. I do wish plants would read their descriptions before growing

L nevadensis leaves are generally 6mm or less wide, L brachycalyx 5-12 mm wide

well to be fair to the plants I think alot look themselves up on google images and alot of those are wrong.

bought this orange one end of last year at Ashwood - marked as Lewisia Cotyledon 'Elise'

this is the third time in 2016  it has flowered - excellent







these are seedlings from the seed exchange this year - amazed to see they are flowering - they were just mixed L. Cotyledon
