That white popovii is so striking.  The straight species isn't bad either!!  Little experience of bulbous corydalis here, except some seedlings coming along of C. solida from an SRGC friend.  They certainly are a fascinating lot aren't they!!??  :D
Cheers.

At the end of next week a friend will show me his Corydalis book from Liden - so then hopefully I'll know more.

Dear Gerd,

Corydalis marschalliana is an other plant, I`ll send a pict in the evening when I stay home again.

In my opinion your shown plant belong to Corydalis cava.

Gerd, I could not make a decision with the Liden / Zetterlund book    :-[..... but you may do better when you have the actual plant in front of you as  you read!!
Some sources say  that marschalliana is yellow.... see here http://www.ecosystema.ru/08nature/flowers/203.htm.....

Maggi,
The corydalis I have as marschalliana is not yellow but whitish/pinkish and for the rest teh same plant as in the picture you have shown. It is not out yet here otherwise i could take a picture.
Nice plant anyway,

It is confusing, André!
Obviously a variable species, and it seems from the Liden /Zetterlund book that there are variations which are given the same name but  actually seem to be different plants, and from different locations......I wasn't able to tell exactly what was what from the book description. The fact that I am not good with keys, does not help either :-[  Some major differences are seen in mature corms, I understand... :-\

Thank you alltogether, Maggi, Gerhard and André.
It seems, determination will not be easy - at least the colour of the flowers shown in your pictures is different from my plant. But , as you told Maggi, this can differ. Have to wait for the Liden book.
Gerhard, André: do you cultivate C. marschalliana and cava side by side?
My mysterious plant is much earlier than cava.

Today I got the Liden-Zetterlund book and I have to confess:
Hier sitz ich nun ich armer Tor und bin nicht klüger als bevor -
which means: Here I'm sitting - a poor fool and I'm not wiser than before

Because my plant doesn't correspond neither the description of cava s. str. nor marschalliana s. str. but comes from Croatia I'll take this (from the book mentioned above)

' in the northern Balkans there is a complete intergradation between marschalliana- und cava-like forms '

Franz I realise I am showing my ignorance but I have only seen the white form of popovii and your wonderful clump of the oink  (sorry pink) one is a revelation. Unfortunately for us it comes through so early and needs so much light to keep it erect ours resembles a trailing plant more often than not. :(

Shelagh,
I'm so sorry for you that yours corydalis its beauty does not show. I know  that little light the colour of the flower changed. It needs maximum light to maintain character. Also in my garden all plants do not grow.

Maggi, No - I did nothing  ??? ??? ???
It seems the double pics disappeared as by a miracle.

But, please tell me for my own information: Can I remove an unwanted pic myself after I had send a contribution to the Forum?
