Pulsatilla problems
« on: May 19, 2016, 08:49:32 PM »
I have two common (garden centre bought probably) varieties of Pulsatilla that I have had for a number of years and they have always flowered very well indeed. This year flowering has been pretty sparse and I wonder why? The leaves are a good colour and look very healthy in both plants and as usual I fed both a couple of times with high potash feed last growing season. Any clues, suggestions please?

I suspect the strange winter and spring might be to blame, David … mine haven't flowered as well as they have in previous years.  If the foliage looks good, then I wouldn't be too worried.

Cheers Cliff, I did wonder if that might be the reason.
