Will you have another stunning six pan Lewisia for the show, Martin? Your six at the Rocky Flower Shows was a cracker .

Alas no, there isn't a large 6 and can't have 6 of one genus in a small 6 ....anyway I don't think I could put another together. A few Lewisias will, however, make there way to the show

 I didn't remember the difference for "small" sixes -  mind you, none of your plants are small enough anyway, are they?

Mind you, one judge, who shall remain nameless, apparently commented that he wanted advance notice next time so he could bring his sunglasses

So perhaps I shouldn't do it too often in case I induce cases of Lewisia blindness

Stuff the judges- I bet the public love 'em!  Yes, they're bright - but they are cheerful!  Gimme a blisteringly bright Lewisia over a puce Dionysia any  day!

Can't do that...I was one...had to make myself scarce when they judged it.

I aim to produce the brightest, boldest, most dazzling Lewisias, true spirit lifters

Just back from helping set up the show. Judging by the number of entries the benches are going to be groaning with class plants. And the weather forecast is good. Make the effort and come and see it, and enjoy a nice day out in Bakewell.
