Well only 8-10cm in the garden during less than 24h, the plant on the rockeries are safe but i already suspect rot and for the other ones on the ground level...well hum :-\,
Certainly on the worst year in my gardening experience. All my Iris are rotten, when i say all..it's all! the slugs eat them before the floods and the standing water achieved them. I gonna invest in a flamethrower for spring and pump for summer!

The ferns are splendid  ;D

After the problems with thunder and  lightning strikes in Europe and  as mentioned in another thread - deaths in Germany from flooding - tonight there are reports of Louvre in Paris being emptied in fear of flooding - so much for summer weather.

I can see from the weather maps Ralph, it's been really warm and sunny for most of this week here.

On this side of the world the east coast of Australia is experiencing heavy rain with floods in NSW already and it's heading down to Vic and Tassie tomorrow!
Worst of all we've in the middle of a federal election campaign! Weather we can forgive .....
cheers

Seems you have got it down south. We have had very nice and warm summer weather the last week - almost too hot. Fog today though but better tomorrow again with slightly cooler temperature.
