A few things of interest today. A bit of a lull in the garden at the moment as we descend into the deepest, darkest depths of winter.

We recently got a replacement for our (Leptinella pyrethrifolia var. linearifolia) Cotula hispida (see below) which succumbed a few years ago to the prolonged drought. The new one is getting established in a new raised bed.

Unlike any Leptinella pyrethrifolia I've seen in the wild Fermi although I don't think I've come across var. linearifolia. Any chance of a pic or two of the foliage close up to satisfy my curiosity  ....Ta .

This is the name that it has been known by around here for as long as I've known it.
When I went to check the name on-line I found one site (in Germany) with the same plant but I found the same site that Maggi found and I presume it has more authority.
What it actually is....? Who knows! I'll try to get a better pic of the foliage for you,Dave,

Fermi  , I am certain that Dave put the correct name Cotula hispida on your plant  , as we have had that plant with this name on our sales table for years at our Ferny Creek Hort. Soc. shows  .

I was going to put this plant on our blog ages ago Fermi, when I did the silver plants but I could not find out its name. I have a fairly close up picture with spent flowers that may help to solve the issue
