The leaves of my plants are not as narrow as the G. paradoxa.

Jonna,
Do you mean you also have Gentiana paradoxa but the leaves are not as narrow? As Maggi said, in culture G. paradoxa is promiscuous and you can obtain offsprings with variable foliage.

If you are talking about your first Gentiana - do you have more close-up images?

Gabriela,
I don't know if I have Gentiana paradoxa. It's very confusing to me. Do you think mine is G. paradoxa?
I do trade and sell my seeds, but I don't want to do that with a proper identification.
I don't have other close-ups from the plant.

I do have other Gentians and I have no doubts about their name:
- Gentiana verna alba
- Gentiana tibetica
- Gentiana gracilipes
- Gentiana pneumonanthe
- Gentiana flavida

No Jonna. We were talking about Rob's G. paradoxa, which is very distinct.

Yours can be quite a few others but not G. paradoxa. It is no way to say what species it is only after the few images. I already said that there are a few Gentiana spp. that look very similar at a superficial look, and you need more details to be able to differentiate them. It is a very good idea not to 'spread' the seeds until you know the name. Next year take close-up pictures right when it starts to flower.

At the link below you can see many pictures with Gentiana cruciata taken in the wild (also write Gentiana macrophylla in the Search and you get that one too).
