We have fertile Division 7's and Division 5's so we have lots of beautiful seedlings coming through now. Most of them are mid-late season flowering although we have quite a few that are very late flowering thanks to using Quickstep and late flowering triandus as pollen or seed parents. Our season now extends well into October.

Narcissus broussonetii - autumn flowering narcissus from Marocco in flower in the garden. It is unfortunate is can't add the very lovely jasmine scent.

lovely to see it! How do you grow it? Is it always under cover?
I got a bulb of it recently and discovered that it is frost tender!
It is now grown in a pot kept on the verandah and hopefully kept frost-free.
When do you feed it? I look forward to your information,

Some more photos. While we are primarily miniature hybridizers we dabble in some of the big Divisions as well. We have developed a range of high quality exhibition jonquilla hybrids that have between 2 and 6 florets. We also have developed a range of Division 5 cultivars that have between 2 and 6 florets. We have also developed a range of high quality Division 11 cultivars that standard size or intermediate size that are eye-catching.

We have done a lot of hybridising of poets this year. We got some of Tony Davis' seedlings. They are world class so it should not take us long to develop a new lines of miniature and standard sized poets.

I quite like that split with the yellow edging (Don't tell Leslie! )

Maggi I am not sure of the perfume status of the various poeticus hybrids and species we grow. However, a lot of our miniatures and standards are heavily perfumed. Our farm is not the place for asthmatics or people with an allergy to daffodil perfume.
