Thanks for the kind words everyone - I have some more pix left and try to post them later tonight.  Watch this space David, some excellent Primula in there...  ;D

I'm not a Galantophile Art, but I did spot 'Primrose Warburg' - I also took a picture, but alas it was too blurry....  :(

The Dionysias were absolutely stunning Chloë - truly wonders of nature.

As to the mysterious baptising that's been going on - I'm quite happy with mine, but Channel Hopping wasn't exactly the right expression for my Saturday's experience... ;D

Luc

I look forward to your further pictures.

Hope someone else took a photo of 'Primrose Warburg' as it was a really wonderful potful.  Like you I am not a Galanthophile, but I did treat myself to a single bulb of this particlar snowdrop at the Show.

Here 's some more :

Orphys tenthredinifera (what a name  ???)

Here's some Primulas :

Primula allionii 'Air'Edit : P. 'Pink Aire'
Primula allionii 'Gilderdale Glow' (not sure about this name  ???) Edit:this plant previously Primula from Hartside, known as HNG12, renamed as 'Gilderdale Glow'

Primula allionii 'Mary Berry'
Primula moupiensis ssp moupiensis... catching some sunrays
Saxifraga.... (missed the name - but it was a real giant !)Edit It is indeed a giant... it is  Saxifraga 'Tenerife' a wonderful dome in a 36cm pot! Shown by AGS stalwart, David Hoare, who was kind enough to get in touch to clue me in on these details. M

Obviously also some Teco's :
Tecophilaea cyanocrocus 'Leichtlinii'
Tecophilaea cyanocrocus 'Violacea'

Some well filled benches

Great pictures Luc will you be braving the North sea again anytime soon? It is Loughborough on Saturday and I intend to be there

As far as Ranunculus Lyalli is concerned I have one from the same source.. Perhaps I can find the right place for it this time  :-\

Hi Luc, as usual lovely pictures. The first primula is, I think, Aire Mist-wish mine was as good as the clone on show!

I'd love to Ian - alas, can't make it as often as I'd like to... and Loughborough is yet a bit further away than Harlow...  :-\

It's the pictures from Ian in New Zealand that made me go for Ranunculus Lyalli... New Zealanders (the plants I mean) are not all that easy out here.

I thought you'd be having a special interest in the Primulas David - some very good plants there !  Amazing how some people can grow them as perfect as that.

See you there Ian (pub at lunchtime ???).  Let's hope we have some plants to show.

Ah, Saturday pub lunch at a show. I think I miss that more than the shows! So it's polish the pots of some mediocre plants, pack the car, Loughborough here we come. Warning to those who can't come. The post show photographs will all be a funny colour due to the lighting in the hall.
