Dear plant friends,
For next year I am organizing a botanical tour to Iran. (possible dates: around April 15th- May 4th, 2017)
The main goal is to see several Dionysia, but next to that we should see various Iris, Muscari, Tulipa, Colchicum, etc.
If all goes well we should see also fields full with Fritillaria imperialis, an unforgettable sight.
First we will visit the Zagros mountains. After visiting the wonderful city of Esfahan, we move north again to the Elbruz mountains to explore this in both east and west direction.
A large Iranian Tour Agency will arrange all the hotels, transfers and visa papers.
