They will be missed but they need to put themselves and their parents first.

Ardfearn making a hard - but sensible decision- please support them! www.ardfearn-nursery.co.uk
18th March 2020

NOTICE FOR CUSTOMERS WISHING TO VISIT ARDFEARN

To all our dear customers,
We have made the very hard decision to close the nursery to all visitors from today.
Our online catalogue remains active - we have previously concentrated on listing our huge range of alpines for mail order, but during the next few days we shall add our wonderful shrubs, perennials and trees.
Local customers are more than welcome to place an order - we will gather in your plants and leave in our car park for collection. Payments can easily be made over the phone before collection.
We realise many of our customers value the expert advice from Alasdair - please feel free to give us a phone, or email, for ideas, tips and any guidance!
Our normal mail order service continues as normal, shipping to UK and EU.

We realise that this change will be disappointing for many of our dear customers, especially at this time of year. But we have three elderly parents living on the nursery with us, and we are taking every precaution we can in an attempt to keep them safe.

Thank you for your understanding.

Alasdair and Sarah

Update from Sarah at Ardfearn :

"Hello from  Ardfearn Nursery - hope all is well you folks?!
Hope its ok to share our current availability list of ericaceous alpines and plants - I've been desperately trying to update stock levels on our online catalogue but home-schooling keeps getting in the way! 🙁
Numbers are limited so we thought a wee heads-up to folks on here may be useful...
If anything catches your eye, please drop us a note to ardfearn@gmail.com
(Fingers crossed, these should all be up on website over the weekend) "

I have been a customer of Ardfearn since just after the nursery opened. I have now moved to Scotland but have not yet managed to find a property with a good sized garden. I hope I can soon and spend time planting alpines again. Ardfearn will be my first choice for well grown plants.
