It is  remarkable how quickly  the plants are loaded into cars and the hall cleared - many thanks to the north-east  group for all their organisation which led to such a successful show.

Wonderful report Stan, great to see so many plants and friends enjoying them.
I an working on "resetting" those of your photos which were showing  in a landscape rather than a vertical format..... sorry that these are now out of synch with your  considered walk around the benches - but  I hope people will be able to gauge by the file numbers where the shots "fit" in with your previous posts.

Thanks for another great report Stan.
So many beautiful plants, including the ferns which look wonderful.
Does anyone know what the prize-winning correa was (page 1, reply #5, img 0356)?

Christine Boulby took three plants to Ponteland show yesterday and won three firsts. Here is her Saxifraga fortunei ' Fumiko' which was awarded the Newcastle Trophy  - great plant and very pretty trophy for Christine to enjoy for the coming year.  Christine is a local member of the AGS group which hosts the joint  show and a stalwart of the SRG Club - our membership secretary. What a star!
Stan showed the plant earlier, but I thought this was cute with the pretty glass trophy, engraved with the Gentiana emblem of the AGS and the Dryas of the SRGC ....
