Thanks to Ruth Rymer, who has given Tony's greenhouse to me, I've been able to upgrade from a 6 x 8 to a 12 x 8 for my bulb house number 3. It took a while as we has to raise the level by 10cm to help with our flooding problem in that area, but now it's up and in operation, and at last all the bulbs are settled.
I took the advice of other members and went for 2 wide plunges just along the sides. Looking forward to the season now!  :D :D

Sad though it was to lose Tony, it is nice to think of Ruth's thoughtfulness in passing his greenhouse to such a good home , where it will have a busy existence housing great plants again.

I will think of Tony often when I'm in there. I hope he would approve.

Very nice David. A few are in flower here, 'Camoro' has been going since the beginning of the month but it is too wet and windy to get out to photograph them! Pleased to see buds are coming on the 'Jessamy' you sent me.

Anne - amazing space you have in your new greenhouse. Lovely to give it a new lease of life and remember a lost friend.

At last a break in the weather to get some photos. White season is here, and not just the snow on the hills!

Narcissus 'Camoro' - flowering for a couple of weeks and more buds coming.
Narcissus romieuxii var. mesatlanticus
Narcissus BD 03/53 - Brian Duncan hybrids, N.bulbocodium ex Morocco x N.hedraeanthus

Many of my daffs seem to earlier this year than the last couple of seasons despite me delaying watering until near the end of Oct.

Nice Matt. Apart from Nylon Group pictured earlier in flower, and buds on my Jessamy (at last!) the others look to need at least another couple of weeks. My original stock of Jessamy came to me from Arnold in New York and they didn't seem to like my conditions (benevolent forgetfulness) and I eventually split them between Matt and Mike Quest. Mike gave me some back earlier this year and there are buds on them now.

Glad to hear you will see 'Jessamy' flower, David. I have about 6 buds coming up to date and they are not far from opening. Excited to see them!

I must revisit my heritage hoops list as I think I still need to track down some more of the Blanchard/Fabric series.

She's out! Two shots of the lovely Narcissus 'Jessamy'. Thank you David!

Another pic of Brian Duncan's Narcissus BD 03/53 with a new flower and an older one for comparison.

Well worth the wait Matt. Mine still need a couple more weeks I think.
