I got my 'Cedric Morris' in 2012.

Thank you for your enquiry. We can take orders over the phone for N Cedric Morris. Maximum of two flowering bulbs per customer for delivery in the green in Jan 2012. We are not making it available on the website as we have very limited stock.

Two bulbs are now four, so it is slow to increase in my garden.

I noticed Beth Chatto listed it this year, even though I thought the price with postage was expensive, it's now sold out.

"Unfortunately we are unable to send to The Channel Islands or addresses outside of the UK at present."
This is the reality :'( But I'm hoping someday I would find a nursery with healthy Cedric Morris bulbs...

Narcissus ‘Shirayukihime’
Another 7-tepal flower. It has several extra tepal/s flowers every year. Perhaps this hybrid is something different to the normal ones.

Beth Chatto lists it every year, and every year it is out of stock.

Narcissus Jessamy grown from seed sown many years ago.  Looks more yellow than most images on the internet.
Is the name correct?  All the flowers seem very much alike in colour.

Very nice Mike.
If it's from seed then presumably it's 'ex Jessamy' so likely to show more variation and partly reflect the population from which the parent clone was selected.

'Jessamy' is a hybrid between N. romieuxii and N. cantabricus var. foliosus. You're plant, Mike does look more yellow than I'd expect of 'Jessamy', so you may have a seedling that more closely resembles the seed parent N. romieuxii. It's a lovely specimen.

Thanks for pointing this out Matt, and apologies for the confusion Mike :-[
An F1 hybrid should be uniform so clonal selection doesn't arise, but seedlings (F2 etc.) will not come true.

Matt/Ashley, thanks for the comments.  They have flowered previously but rarely all at once.
They do appear to be very uniform in colour & shape. One of my better efforts.

A bunch of self pollinated seedlings from Narcissus romieuxii subsp. albidus var. zaianicus, MS168 and their parent flower.

I bought the parent pot in Jan. 2011 and noticed soon later that the plant affected by virus :( Then I threw it away after collecting the seeds.
