I wanted to get rid of neighbours cats digging my bulbs and making their dirt among precious plants...
after many trials i've found the ultimate solution that works for 4 months : ultrasonic repellents.
Before i found the good ones, i tried 4 brands and get refund within one week, none working on cats.
A friend who's a pigeon breeder lent me a model he used and it was a miracle.
Without any advertising for a brand, i bought PestBye models (sold in UK by Primrose, Amazon, etc).

No more cats in the garden and greenhouse My bulbs and birds say thank u!

I also place a small photo of the foliage of Narcissus serotinus that appears this year.
I know it will not flourish this year. I show it because I told you about my worries about this Narcissus. I bought it at a dry plant fair in late November 2015. It showed no signs of life except that the bulb in September 2016 was still intact.

Re: Pest control.
Do you turn it off when people are around to stop running the batteries down?

the sensor detect size of the masse, when i garden around it only power on once, 3-4sec then the sensor power off the stuff.
It really works well, after 4 months the batteries are still at 80% of their charge, nice surprise.

I was thinking of something like this for the rabbits Yann; what distance has to be in between 2 of them, or better said the sq. area covered/each ?

Gail, adverts encourage us to adopt a leopard. I had to send mine back because it got too big for the house due to eating the local cat population.

One way to deter cats is to adopt a leopard.

Have you adopted many leopards? 
I find them a tad unpredictable. Friendly one minute .........and then not.
