I have several pots of seedling Lilium pomponium that are not blooming size yet.  I hope they are as gorgeous as those.  Wow!

At last it has stopped pouring with rain and so went out and took a couple of pictures.
Lilium xdalhansonii (L. hansonii x L. martagon) Apparently one of the oldest hybrids, first created in 19th century.

Lilium mackliniae

My peatbed is rather small, so I tried to cultivate this Cardiocrinum giganteum in a bigger pot.
At the beginning I was rather sceptic but by good waterig and feeding this plant reached 2.50 meter
in height. This is rather bonsai like in comparison with plants which grow in the open ground, but we
nevertheless enjoy the strange habit and the beautiful flowers.

Nice albiflorum Rick.  I also bloomed an albiflorum this year but the flower color seemed a bit buff colored or creamy. Was yours a really pure white, and if so how hot has your weather been, or was it a bit buff colored.  One is always concerned about getting something mislabeled.  I did try to cross it with Slate's Morning but don't know if the cross took.

Impressive the white martagon! and the others as well. You do not have problems with the lily red beetle?
Here they appeared in the wild as well, seen them yesterday on L. michiganense  :(

Jan,
The pics of martagon albiflorum are unaltered, but yes I would say the true color is not as snow white as they show.  The color is not as opaque, and I think if you look closely, you'll find that is the reason.  The pink-brown of the petal backs show through.  But the color of the spots are true.
