Helleborus 2017
« on: January 15, 2017, 09:04:47 AM »
Like every other Winter blooming plants, Helleborus are late this year (lack of rain during Autumn + cold nights and days in December = growth lateness ?). I found out this morning though, that H. orientalis 'November flowering' from Paul Christian is blooming for quite some time now... It's just looking at the wall behind it. Helleborus 'La Précoce' from Delabroye is still in bud. Not really early this year.

Hellebores are all flowering well now. Here is Helleborus thibetanus; apologies for the poor picture, trying to get to grips with a new camera.
