Janette, I don't think your Iris is I. caucasica; Looks like a from from Armenia I have, that Tony Hall told me to be I. aff. pseudocaucasica....

Thank you Bulbissime. Mine also originated from Armenia and I doubted that it was I.caucasica, but wasn't sure what it should be named.

Ow :'( ...since last year I have a hedgehog in the garden and slug and snail damage has been lowered a lot this spring....touch wood that he/she stays here this year too!
