Indeed - and not before time!  We have lost so many of 'The Immortals' in the past few years, it was a real inspiration for Alan Street and Avon Bulbs to host an Immortals lunch when they did.  May you live long and attend many of them...if there are any in the pipeline!

Congratulations! Opinions are divided on naming cultivars after living persons. Christopher Lloyd, he of many opinions, always said he thought it was the most awful vanity, and refused to allow anything to be named after him. So there are no Genus Species 'Christopher Lloyd', or even 'Christo'. Only 'Dixter' this and 'Dixter' that. As much as I admire the man, I disagree on this point. Personally, I would LOVE to be an immortal!

I have inherited a DSLR camera from my late Father-in-law, and clearly have a lot to learn about using it if the quality of these pictures is anything to go by. I will have to try taking the same subjects using my old camera for comparison.
