while cleaning the garden i lookep up and my eyes where catched by the colors of Tulipa rubidosa.

After I had dared to plant Tulipa cretica outside in autumn 2016 I now was rewarded with
very compact flowers. No problems with hardiness to my surprise.

Good to know that outdoor cultivation is possible. I did not expect it because I found
the species at low elevations close to the sea.
