ID Narcissus

Maybe N. tazzeta ?

Look like an hybrid like N. x medioluteus (tazetta x poeticus). Where does the picture come from ? a garden or in the wild ?

Non, ce n'est pas tazetta mais un hybride, cela ressemble à N. x medioluteus (= biflorus) hybride entre tazetta et poeticus. D'où cela vient ? d'un jardin ou en nature ?

It comes from my grand mother's garden. But maybe at the time, botanic species were sold ?
This Narcissus has been found around Marseille (13).

N. x medioluteus is a natural hybrid that were found around Montpellier and maybe in the north of the Crau plain. It is now found scarcelly in southern France, specially in south-west, usually escaped from gardens : http://siflore.fcbn.fr/?cd_ref=109338&r=metro .
It has been cultivated for a long time and was widely distributed in old garden.

N. x medioluteus has been described with 2 (1 or 3 rarely) flowers. However, mine have about 5 flowers.
Moreover, N. x medioluteus's petals are larger than my Narcissus.

I didn't understand that it was a single stem (maybe because i had medioluteus in mind). Have a look to Narcissus tazetta 'italicus' which is considered as an hybrid between tazetta and papyraceus : http://www.pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/NarcissusHybrids

Well, at least, it's a natural hybrid found in Italy. It has been named as N. tazetta ssp italicus, and even Narcissus italicus but now, it is recognized as an hybrid more or less stabilized (I don't know it very well).
