As the only entrant I won  the Alexander  Caird trophy for class 2 six large pots. I  was somewhat surprised to also get the Cox rhododendron trophy (with a Cox bird series plant Swift )  and the Middleton challenge  trophy  for most open points this last very narrowly from Sue Simpson and Cyril.
