It seems another pest is amongst us.... Golden Root Mealy Bug..... note from the RBGE

Hi Maggi,
when I lived near the Dandenongs in Melbourne I think we referred to them as "yellow root aphids" though of course they look more like mealy bugs.
They can devastate an entire primula collection I've been told!
