Hi
Weather has continued to be quite unfavourable. Very windy and cold. I have had to resort to doing my crosses in one of our tractor sheds.
As you can see from the photos the two seedlings from N asturiensis var vasconicus have turned white. They are very valuable for breeding.

Hi
We try and collect different species seed from different sources. The photos show that sometimes there is quite a difference between the plants. The Salmon seed has produced a very small plant and flower while the Archibald seed has produced a much larger plant and flower.
As you can see from the last two photos we have nice seedlings of our own breeding to use as seed parents in our miniature hybridising program.

Hi
The weather has been a bit warmer today and the wind was not as bad so I was able to do a bit of daffodil work.
Some species photos first.

"SRGC-decorative-6w-w-intermediate-seedlings " are very cute with those very frilly trumpets.

Hi
Maggie, while they are not exhibition material they are very attractive so I will keep them. I suspect one of our species trumpets is the factor behind the trumpets.

Hi
Lots of miniatures and intermediates in flower now. The main beds of intermediates and standards have not started flowering yet.

Hi
The 2W-O and 2W-YYO seedlings are two highly coloured intermediates that will be used for breeding colour into our miniatures. They are flowering for the first time this year. The miniature 6Y-Y seedling is from our breeding down program. It is a very good seedling.

Hi
Final batch of photos. I have taken a lot of photos but my enthusiasm for editing is starting to wane and I am not even into main season yet!!
