Another Sikkim bulb
« on: September 14, 2017, 05:38:26 PM »
I loved the color of this bulb that was growing on top of rocks with little humus to grow in.  East of Lachung.  Does anyone know what it is?

Thank you.

Claire,

This also looks like Theropogon which is sadly not in general cultivation. It is odd that this year I have seen three recent images of this very dark colored form that has not previously been noted. I am beginning to wonder if it is a second species.
