A brilliant video Jan and I can do no better than re-quote Lesley Cox's words on another thread earlier today.  Lesley's and indeed my own ""envy of people who have a genius touch for doing rock work in such a way it would be exactly at home on any remote mountain-top or scree""

Brilliant also, in addition to the quality of the rock work, from the named and beautiful plants that will serve as an aide memoire to my more humble planting efforts in the future.

I was lucky too see that the following video that came up on screen was a reprise of your polystyrene trough making Jan. It did make me think that you really must get through some huge quantities of tea towels in your household! ;D

Thank you David for your compliment. Yes, we had a lot of old tea towels, which we no longer used. (a dishwasher).
But I made 8 more, (for a small price) for friends and now use old bed sheets. Cut into pieces, goes well too.

Right now, I wish you and all other rock plant enthusiasts on this forum a happy and prosperous 2018.

I have made a selection of photographs of our garden adventures from the last 30 years. It is far from complete, but it gives an impression. (full screen and music)

That's simply amazing, Jan. I enjoyed this slide show video thoroughly. You can tell you've put some thought into this, and it turned out awesome.

A video made with a selection of only flowering saxifragas of this spring. About 200 pieces. Maybe too long, but for lovers of saxifraga it can be interesting.
You can sit full of screen and sound. Music is 'Blue_Danube' by Strauss and 'Fur_Elise' by Beethoven

The saxifraga gutter, made in autumn 2015, now 3 years later.Planted with about 95 saxifragas, in this 3 years a loss of 5 pieces, with now still a few with damage. This fall together with my friend Jos van Bergen (he did all the work) of all our saxifragas take cuttings. 13 breeding boxes, about 800 pieces. Awful lot of work.
