I have made my net cage for the bog more comfortable. Probable less dangerous for the passing birds because there are no folds in it.
Four poles out of steel into the ground. At the top of each a triangle through which a wire passes around all the four corners.
This is the roof. It has its own net spread over it and about half a meter over the sides.
All around are pieces of iron rod fixed in the net to keep it in place and weigh it down. It can move freely when snow or leafs are on it.
Just below another wire where a kind of curtain is threaded into. to move freely and be opened at the entrance where it overlaps. This is also weighed down by iron.
This cage here is actually 2,2 meters high and 3,5 to 5 meters around.
