Seed suppliers
« on: January 04, 2018, 08:00:23 PM »
Does anyone know of a comprehensive list of seed suppliers, I know there is the useful link here on SRGC, but I see a lot of Facebook pals receiving seeds from various suppliers in the Czech Republic, Russia etc
Thanks and Happy New Year to everyone

Quite a few  Czechs etc here:   http://www.srgc.net/forum/index.php?action=links;cat=5

It is up to members to decide whether the seeds offered are available  legally.

Kot previously recommended this forum when I asked about peonies... I got absolutely nowhere with it!

Following this post I decided to try again, looking for seeds.

The only thing I could find in 'Market Place' was a packet of herb seeds for cats!!

However if you go to the communities page, and type in seeds you can get access to seed sellers.

I run a copy of google translate on another webpage. So that I can cut'n'paste interesting looking text into that.

Fiddly but fascinating!

Hello Tim
I recommend this forum because several Russian collectors announce and offer Paeonia tenuifolia Alba seeds. He informs, however, that the seed rarely repeats the white color. These pure white reproduce vegetatively

Hi Kot,
My origonal interest was the bicoloured Paeonia tenuifolia you showed back in 2016.

Now that I've better worked out how to navigate vk.com I'll try again in the summer.

Try the Russian seed supplyer Prof-Seeds: https://prof-seeds.com/
Lots of wild collected Russian plants and others. Both perennials and shrubs/trees. Easy shopping, easy payment.
