Im hoping to grow my first Junos from seed (collected earlier this year). They are 'iris aucheri indigo' x ? and Juno rosenbachiana_Sogor. Ive been trying to do my homework on-line and think this Ive come up with an approach based on what I could find from people with expertise. Can anyone tell me if this is likely to work and clarify if I should scarify too? Am I missing anything here?

Juno iris germination

• Soak seeds in rain water or boiled water with drop of detergent for 48 hours
  Put in free draining potting mix (using perlite) with a 2 cm layer of vermiculite/gravel on top
  Three seeds per pot maximum
  Soak the whole thing one time and then leave through winter
  Leave somewhere cool, like in an unheated greenhouse,  and in spring: germination
  Keep in initial pot or two years

My first Juno of the season. Iris palaestina

The smell is amazing....somehow apple-ish. Or could that be the colours?

I bought the bulb from Greece in late July and it got started in growth straight away. It's been in doors for a few weeks after the first early frosts. It's so cute
