Our dear  Show reporter to the Form, Stan da Prato, is  "off work" at the moment - recovering from a hip operation ,so gleaning  show pix from today  from the  SRGC Facebook page - these from Ian the Christie  Kind.

Most of  Ian's photos taken while the plants were still being staged -  but Ian did comment that the entries were a bit down. Just Stan being  away means a huge drop in entries, for a start.   :'(   Get well soon, Stan!!

Sue Simpson Watt  says
"Really showing off here! A once only event at the Edinburgh Show with some friends absent and bad weather affecting the number of plants available!"

Sue is too modest, this great "haul" of  prizes is richly deserved for her  superb plants  - days like that  make the early morning starts seem easy!

Well done Sue!  :-*

Can I just say a hearty thankyou to everyone who exhibited, helped and supported our show yesterday. A combination of the inclement spring weather and some absent friends meant that entries were almost half of what we have had in the last 7 years. Nick Boss for Dionysia archibaldii - in tufa gravel - quite an achievement

R E Cooper Bhutan Drinking Cup for best Asiatic Primula: Ian Christie for Primula odontocalyx - the white form
