Narcissus - autumn 2018 from April in Southern Hemisphere

The first autumn species in our garden is Narcissus viridiflorus.
This is the original clump growing up through a Teucrium subspinosa

Hi Gerd,
With the lack of rain it feels like we are in a hot Mediterranean climate!
The Teucrium comes from Marjorca apparently and is very drought tolerant.
We've been watering parts of the garden and have started on the Bulb Beds,

We came home to find this narcissus in flower for the first time.
Grown from seed from Betty Clark in 2011, labelled "Narcissus tazetta patulus (? syn ochroleucus)", so she wasn't sure herself about the name.

This has flowered a month earlier this year and again the slugs found them first

Hi Gerd,
we're very lucky with our climate as far as narcissus are concerned (not so good for meconopsis, though!).
We're also fortunate to have breeders like Lawrence Trevanion, Graham Fleming and Rod Barwick who provide a great range of narcissus hybrids for us to buy!
With Narcissus 07-02 T, (Narcissus tazetta lacticolor x N. elegans) when the flower opens the cup is a greenish colour and the orange develops after a day or so

Usually Narcissus cantabricus is the first "hoop" to flower in our garden but this one is separate and unlabelled so I'm not sure if it is N. cantabricus or one of the hybrids,
