Some springflowers from the Jakobsberg

Yesterday I visited the nature reserve Jakobsberg - a hill near Bielefeld - especially famous for the occurrence of Hepatica nobilis, which is very rare in North Rhine-Westphalia

1 - 3  Anemone nemorosa - seen beside the road previously
4 + 5  the Jakobsberg
6 - 10 Hepatica nobilis (with Viola reichenbachiana partly)

This is part 2 from the Jakobsberg

1. Hepatica nobilis

some other spring flowers
2. Gagaea species - flowers turned to green (like Helleborus do)
3. + 4 . Primula veris
5. Vinca minor - an escape here
6. Paris quadrifolia
7. Dactylorhiza species
8. Viola odorata - also an escape
9. Viola reichenbachiana
10 Prunus spinosa

and the rest - including a strange rest house opposite the hill

1. Prunus spinosa
2. another visitor - more interested in mouseholes
3. the rest house - originally an old fashioned restaurant for weekend   visitors
4. + 5.  now an 'Rock'n Blues Rasthaus' where I met an unexpected guest

Mind you, alpine gardening can involve a lot of stone rolling....
