Mark
I'm a newbie at this forum allthough have been reading the forum for a few months now
A question I have about the clay balls, describe the process please what type of clay commercial or clay soil, and what about the after care, roll them up in damp cloth, put them in a greenhouse, what time of the year etc.

Arie I wish I could answer the questions for you. This is a ?new Czech technique. All I know is the clay contains charcoal and some food. The clay for the balls I would say come from a field. I will email ZZ when I get home from work. I should have started all this when he was over here visiting in either November, when he showed us photos for the first time, or in February when he was back again

It's autumn here and Daphne alpina is once again in flower!
It did this last year as well despite flowering well in spring each year. Does it do the same in the Northern hemisphere?
cheers

A Daphne hybrid and an Austrian cneorum which will be flowering the next days (grown from one cutting of a plant which grow behind my garden in a rock face - 10 years old).

For the last time I'll show you 'Lawrence Crocker' again.
Do you want to correct this one as well ?
Edit by Maggi.... I just did that very thing, Andrew!

The flowers on 'Lawrence' didnt last long this year due to the lack of water.
