Finishing tomorrow (Tuesday) night, we have three of our signature yellow snowdrops available.
DRYAD GOLD STAR is one of our more diminutive Dryad Golds, a beguiling little snowdrop with large full flowers which open like drop-earrings from long buds, displaying an inverted heart on the inners. Only 8cm high at start of flowering, the blooms display well above short spreading foliage at flowering time. Planted in the open, the clump will glow bright gold in the winter sun. Excellent for pots and containers, though equally happy in the open ground. The photo shows a group on our rock garden at the end of January this year. The small bulbs are vigorous and increase well.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263886721109
ESTONIAN SPIRIT GROUP clone 2009/CS4 is distinctive for its darker, more olive yellow mark, with a very narrow bridge, contrasting with a clear yellow, more rounded ovary. The flower hangs free of the spathe on a fairly long pedicel, the thicker textured outer segments being fairly strongly cupped, with a short claw. Flowers at 7cm high here. Leaves short at flowering.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263886684994
DRYAD GOLD BULLION
Flowering later, and shorter than Gold Sovereign, this more compact cultivar shares the same vigorous habit, bulks up very rapidly and is very free flowering. Flowering height 8cm.

Ending tonight, we have 2 very distinctive, but very different yellow snowdrops, a super little miniature daffodil, and a daff that could almost bridge the gap between the others!
GALANTHUS ESTONIAN SPIRIT GROUP ‘KULLAKE’
Exceptionally rare - an outstanding, compact nivalis, very pale and spectral throughout with a narrow, pale yellow mark on inner segments and pale yellow ovary. Even the leaves are pale and silvery. The stunning ghostly appearance makes this a very beautiful and striking addition to the yellow snowdrop group and a real eye catcher.
The first named variety of the Estonian Spirit Group, and the smallest of the group found so far, usually flowering at only 5cm high.
As you would expect from a miniature variety, ‘Kullake’ has naturally very small bulbs, but it increases well.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263893819644

GALANTHUS 'DRYAD GOLD SOVEREIGN'
The earliest of the Dryad Gold Group to flower, beginning early-mid January outside in normal years, and in fact by far the earliest of any of the yellow cultivars I grow.
Dryad Gold Sovereign has performed exceptionally well in the garden, long lasting, noticeably large, elegantly long flowers on strong stems, with distinctive long narrow ovaries. A group in flower catching the sunshine is a stunning sight.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263893813108
622609-1
Narcissus ‘Little Racer’
Another winner from Brian, Little Racer is a cheeky little miniature cyclamineus hybrid, opening bicoloured white and yellow, and fading to all white. It has a swept-back perianth, and long, slightly expanded trumpet. It was awarded a prestigious PC in 2013, and has featured in many of Brian’s winning exhibits.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263893826031
622611-2
Narcissus ‘Galantoquilla Group’
Exciting little hybrids from Brian, bred from N.lagoi x assoanus, which he calls his ‘snowdrop daffodils’ because they are similar in size, shape and flowering time to snowdrops. A perfect variety to take you from snowdrops to daffodils. As a group, they are all about 20cm high, with a conspicuous upright green spathe which remains green as the flower matures. Very hardy and will flower through the snow, just like your snowdrops.

Finishing tomorrow (Wednesday),just to be awkward, we have yellow snowdrops and white daffodils! Firstly the 3 snowdrops.
DRYAD GOLD STAR
One of our more diminutive Dryad Golds, Dryad Gold Star is a beguiling little snowdrop with large full flowers which open like drop-earrings from long buds, displaying an inverted heart on the inners. The small bulbs are vigorous and increase well.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263899911240

DRYAD GOLD MEDAL is an ideal yellow to carry on the season from Gold Sovereign, flowering later, and with rounder and fuller flowers, this cultivar shares the same vigorous habit, is quick to increase and very free flowering. Flowering at 15cm, it has the typical extra-long ovary of the Dryad Gold group. The outer segments are smoother, broader and more cupped than Gold Sovereign.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263899916007

GALANTHUS ESTONIAN SPIRIT GROUP  ‘KUDRUS’ (2009/CS1)
I urged Taavi to give this clone a name, as it is a gorgeous little snowdrop - a group in flower give the appearance of a clump of tiny lampshades. Possibly my favourite of the Estonian Spirit group! As it is so distinct, Taavi has agreed to name it 'Kudrus' which means 'Tiny Pearl'.
The ovary and flowers are both distinctly rounded, the cupped outer segments having a distinct shoulder after the claw. The short pedicel holds the voluptuous little flower close to the straight spathe.  The colour of the ovary and inner mark are a pale pistachio when grown under glass. The silvery leaves are erect and about half the height of the flowers. Mid height, flowering at about 10cm.

Our daffodil offerings include the 2 whites:
Narcissus ‘WEE DOTE’  is a very popular and consistent exhibition variety from Brian, opening bicoloured and fading to 1W-W. Having excellent show form, it has won many prizes, and it was awarded a PC in 2013. Flowering at 12-15cm high, it also makes a very beautiful and reliable container plant.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263899957730
622812-0
Narcissus ‘TINY LIGHT’ is a very refined little miniature trumpet daffodil opening creamy white and fading to pure white. It has been a constituent of many of Brian’s prizewinning exhibits. Growing to 10cm high here, it makes a charming plant for containers or outside on a raised bed or trough. Rarely offered and only ever in small numbers.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263899969588
622814-1
Lastly we have 2 classic yellow miniature daffodils which as well as being beautiful container and exhibition subjects, make wonderful plants for raised beds and rock gardens:
A superb miniature daffodil from world-renowned Irish breeder Brian Duncan, Narcissus ‘FRINGELLA GROUP’ are super little hybrids bred from N. asturiensis x N. cyclamineus , the parents being selected for their flanged and toothed coronas. As a group, they are all about 10cm high, with a wide spreading 'fringe' at the mouth of the corona. A big bed of these growing in the open ground in Brian's field was a wonderful sight.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263899964247
622816-2
Finally, Narcissus ‘PUNK is a great favourite with Brian for its cheeky, upstanding, perfectly formed golden flowers. At 10-12cm high, it is perfect for containers, and performs well outside here on a raised bed.

Our very last listings for this summer finish tomorrow (Sunday) night.
This is your last opportunity to obtain one of our very desirable yellow snowdrops.
The three available include our newer, large flowered, compact Dryad Gold Star (Pictured above) :   https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263906841589
the popular Dryad Gold Bullion (pictured above):  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263906839862
- and lastly the Estonian Spirit Group clone 2009/CS10, which was collected on the Island of Kassari, Esiküla village, in an abandoned garden in 2007. The long ovary and markings are very pale, and the flower has a streamlined, elongated appearance, which along with the stiffly upright silvery foliage makes the whole plant look very narrow. Flowering height approximately 6cm.

Our last daffodils for this year include the very elegant Narcissus ‘LITTLE TWEET’  Bred from N.cyclamineus x Candlepower,  ‘Little Tweet’ is a multi-award winning miniature cyclamieus daffodil which opens as a bicolour white and primrose, quickly maturing to all white, with a long, gracefully flared trumpet and swept back perianth. It was awarded Best Miniature and Best Seedling at the RHS Early Show in 2010, and has also been awarded a prestigious PC. Superb exhibition flower which would be an asset to any collection. It is classified for exhibition as 1 W-W.

623056-1
‘Fringella group’ – charming in the open or in containers, only 10-15cm tall and with an extravagantly flared and fringed trumpet. (Pictured above)
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263906857425
‘GIPSY VALE’  Bred from N. Gipsy Queen x obvallaris, this is a beautiful little miniature daffodil with creamy white trumpets. It is a consistent show winner and has won many top prizes, including the Alec Grey trophy.
