I have my first ever Gro in flower:

Very nice ! Could someone recommend Gro that is best for scent? I read Blonde Ingrid's posts about fantastic scent but wonder if there is one out there that is available and doesn't break the bank too much?

Try Lefki or Eleni from Melvyn Jope, a great source of quality Gr-os, both have very strong scent.

Your G. peshmenii looks lovely with its green tips, Marie-Rose! Also, ´Tessera´appears to be more elegantly shaped than others of its  kind. Since when do You grow them in the open ground?

Thank You for showing so many aspects of ´Tessera´growing in Your garden, Marie-Rose! It´s good to know that it may take several years to show its full potential.
2008 I planted some G. peshmenii, but they succumbed to the harsh winter 2011/12. Probably my soil isn´t well enough drained, too. What about the positions where You managed to grow G. peshmenii in the border, and which minimum of temperature did they stand?
