Just beautiful, Tatsuo!
Are you visiting any of the japanese Hepatica shows this year? I guess, some of us would have longing looks on your pics  ;)
Thanks, carstens! I didn't go to the show this season, sorry.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful treasures. Own seedlings are always so exiting!
In 2016 I got some F2 nobilis seed from Gunhild Poulsen prepared for filled flowers.

Outside in a raised bed I grow some unnamed single forms of Hepatica nobilis var. japonica.
Unfortunately the weather is not at itīs best to let the flowers open fully.

Last year I visited Kolding plant market in Denmark. I got this beautiful plant from Gunda Kristensen, a very fine semidouble nobilis and likely with fertile pollen.

Gunilla showed her beautiful dark blue Hepatica xschlyteri the other day. In 2015 I did a cross with Hepatica maxima, too. One with Hepatica nobilis 'Bavarian Blue' and one with Hepatica nobilis var. 'Touyama shigure' witch are both spotted cultivars. Unfortunately the flowers of the crosses are plain-colored. I wonder if the F2 cross could show the desired form? Any ideas?

Beautiful Hepatica's Carsten! Your F2 crossing looks very promising. You probably now that flowers still can change during the first years. So you need to be patient, but that makes it exciting.

Today I was on a Hepatica show in Kalmthout (Belgium) and saw some beautiful things. These crossings have very big flowers!

I don't know but it is worth a try.  I would have thought that something of the blue from the spotted forms would show in the crosses but apparently not. I think your plain coloured are nice but a big spotted Hepatica x schlyteri would be spectacular  :).
