Calochortus clavatus ssp clavatus which was in flower at the end of November has only set one seedpod but it's a whopper!

Calochortus luteus - this was grown from seed labelled something else so it may actually be a hybrid

wow... I admire here every time the great successes in the cultivation of Calochortus. Great...Fermi & Paul

By chance I have just discovered two tiny seedlings of Calochortus lyallii. I sowed these wild seeds from the Chumstick Mountains/Washington last winter and hope to be able to admire sometime also such great flowers as with you.

Calochortus luteus from seed from Robert B sown 27-04-2017.
First flower opened today on the hottest November day in over 100 years!
