Lovely plants Hans. They do well for You. 
Cactus is plants that seems to do well in Portugal better than in Sweden maybe I should have a look at these ones if I ever see them for sale.

You can not grow general all species of Cactus in Portugal - p.E. such plants from the Andes grows not well in hot area ( they need a cool period in winter )
 -a good plantfriend of mine (Mats Winberg from Sweden ) grows very succsessful all this species in Sweden -please look on his website :

you can buy from him a lot of such plants or seeds ......

Hans You are right the ones that needs a cold winter rest do not do well in Portugal but the ones that are happy with 10C winter temp are happy outside. In Sweden I would need a greenhouse for the ones needing these temperatures. We have problems unless we have a part of the house unheated it gets very dry for the plants.  A totally unheated house tends to be colder than 0C so one needs to find plants that fits ones growing conditions.
I was just at the webpage You recommended and there is a loooooooot of things. I will have a look if there is something that fits my ideas.
For the moment I do not dare to have plants with spikes inside since the kids are not smart/old enough and I do not want to tech them the hard way.

Hans ,here are a couple of mine.
Ariocarpus fissuratus, sorry for the bad pick but this was taken before digital and was converted from bitmap.This plant only flowers after about 30 years in captivity, and then only occasionally.

Cephalocereus senilis, This is one from seed sown in 1972.
