Daphne gemmata -This has outgrown its pot and is now planted in a raised bed which will be covered over winter.

Daphnes flowered profusely in my garden, most flowers are now fading or gone, but D. burkwoodii Somerset
is still in flower. The extreme temperatures during last summer killed some plants like my big D. circassica
and a plant of  D. x Maisie Larrae,which I planted in a hotter place. So not all the Daphne species and
cultivars tolerate the recommended warm places.
