Unknown Narcissus
« on: May 27, 2019, 09:33:25 PM »
One week ago a plant-friend showed me the attached picture of a Narcissus and
asked for a name of this beauty. I like narcissi, but my knowledge in names is very
limited. Maybe the experts can help me. The plants are 10 - 12 cm in height and have
2 to 3 flowers per stem, stems and leaves are round in diameter. They grow in masses
in stony meadows, where the fighting bulls usually graze. The locality is at the Southern
Edge of the Massif Central in Southern France.

In Southern France, it's easier than in Spain. There's only one species of this section : Narcissus assoanus
