The Day of the Themids!
Firstly:  Dichelostemma volubile one grown from seed from NARGS Seedex 2003 and the other from Robert in 2017!

Triteleia ixioides - at least I think that's what it is as it's another "volunteer"!

The firecracker flower, Dichelostemma ida-maia, (from California and Oregon) in a "woodland" bed which gets some water over summer is growing nicely between small trees

Grown from wild collected seed as Triteleia laxa from Mendicino County, from NARGS Seedex 2016, but probably a Brodiaea! Maybe B. californica?

Bloomeria humilis & Triteleia ixioides for comparison!
The Bloomeria is from seed from NARGS Seedex 2017 (sown 28-04-17) apparently it's fairly rare in the wild

More pics of the flowers of this probable brodiaea and one of the bulbs  has come to the surface
