SRGC efforts celebrate anniversaries!
« on: December 27, 2019, 12:42:53 PM »
The weekly Bulb Log   has  completed 18 years  and the  International Rock Gardener (IRG) e-magazine has  rung  up ten years  of  monthly  issues.
Ian Young has  written his  Bulb Log diary  every  single  week since  the  beginning  of  2003 -  and  I (Maggi) began editing the  IRG in January 2010 - making  Ian's  latest  diary his 884th and the  IRG 's 120.

The  SRGC is committed to sharing information and enthusiasm for alpine  and  rock garden plants as  freely  and widely  as  possible, and  I truly  believe that the  entries of  all kinds  on the  SRGC website  are  key  in this.

Thank you to all the  readers contributors and faithful members who support  this voluntary effort and make  it  such a  success !

All issues of   the  Bulb Log and  the  IRG are  available  on the  SRGC.net  site - free to  download and read  by  all.

We couldn't  do it  without  you !!

And most special thanks to you both, Maggi and Ian, for your dedication and stamina.
Together you gave us all a 'nucleation' focus around which the forum grew (& grows) as such a valuable resource.

Well said Ashley, and I heartily second that.

It's a huge effort which you both seem to make effortless - many thanks to you both and your team behind the scenes (= Molly etc)
